WorkFit-S suggestion for improvement

I recently started using the WorkFit-S, Dual Monitor with Worksurface+, and overall am very pleased with its performance. It moves very smoothly between sitting and standing position, and is very stable when in use.

I have two suggestions for product improvement:

1. Keyboard stand should be adjustable from left to right. When I situate my keyboard in the center of the keyboard stand, there is limited (approximately 4 inches) of space for my mouse, which makes navigation with the mouse challenging. It would be nice to be able to adjust the keyboard stand either left or right to accommodate more room for the mouse for either left- or right-handed users.

2. Shift entire unit back further when in standing position. It would be nice if the unit could shift back further (over the top of the desk) to allow for an anti-fatigue floor mat to be left in place for use when standing. Currently, I need to move the mat when switching between sitting and standing, because it does not allow the chair to be rolled under the unit when I am in the seated position.

Has anyone else experienced these challenges?

Thanks for the suggestions. I can definitely see the utility in having more room for mousing.

For front-back traversal, you might want to take a look at the WorkFit-A with suspended keyboard tray. I think it might address that need: http://www.ergotron.com/ProductsDetails ... fault.aspx

Hey, Lisa.

One of our Customer Care team just informed me that the keyboard stand _is_ R-L adjustable. The keyboard tray can be installed in nine potential locations relative to the monitor: centered or off-set to left or right; at standard focal distance or 2.2" (5.6 cm) or 4.4" (11.2 cm) farther away.
