Removing Keyboard Tray Screw Cover

Removing Keyboard Tray Screw Cover

Hello! (First post!)

I just acquired a WorkFit-LX, Sit-Stand Desk Mount System. I have assembled it and now need to disassemble it for moving. How do you remove the keyboard tray screw cover? It seems very difficult to remove, even with using a tool to leverage the piece and I do not want to break it. The graphic in the user manual makes it seem like it just slides right off, when it doesn't. See graphic below, item circled.

Hi, there, and welcome! :-)

Here's what our Customer Service team told me:

This cover has 4 clipping points, 2 at the top and to at the bottom. To remove the cover, you will need to force out—with a flat screw driver—the bottom 2 clips and then push it up. (see first attachment)

The customer also might need to try to push these 2 other clipping points from the back. (see second attachment)

Hopefully this helps.

And the forum software messed up the order. :-/

The bottom image goes with the first instruction; the top image goes with the second.
