I got my Ergotron Workfit T last week. I found it extremely hard to raise. I have dual monitors with separate stands and a desk lamp put on the workfit. They are about 10-12 lbs and i have to use much effort to raise the device. I am 5'1" with small bones. The device is wider than my shoulder and i have to extend my arms to reach the handles on both sides of the device. Also, when i am in a sitting position, the monitors (which are put on top of the Workfit T) are above my eye level even though i set both the Workfit T and my monitor stands at the lowest position. The extra 5 inches from the device really makes a big difference. What is the maximum load on the Workfit T? Will it hurt my shoulder if i have to do the raise/lower activity repetitively throughout the day? Do you have any other design that will fit a small and petite person better?
