Freedom ARM HD tension too high

Freedom ARM HD tension too high

Postby imgod2u » Sun Mar 26, 2017 9:05 pm

Hi,

I've had this ARM for a while and have a 11lb 27" monitor attached. I've always just assumed that you basically can't move the arm up and down and that it was a fixed height relative to where on the pole I mounted.

However, watching the demo video implies that I can "nod" the monitor on the tension arm. But even at the lowest setting, the resistance is too great for me to move the arm up or down.

I have 2 of these that I had to RMA (originally, the screws for the clamp used to adjust it to 2.5" wouldn't budge) to get 2 fresh ones and they're all like that.

Are these arms meant for significantly heavier monitors or something? Is that the reason they're so hard to "flex"?

Hi, there.
Is there a product number you could provide, please? I can look into it.

Thanks!
