Getting the max height out of the WorkFit-A Dual

Getting the max height out of the WorkFit-A Dual

Postby car_mijo » Tue Jul 18, 2017 2:14 pm

I'm 6'3" and can't seem to get enough height out of the WorkFit-A. Currently, the height from desk to top (pictured below) is 27.5"

What is the max height from desk supposed to be?

Any tips for getting more height out of it?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi, there.

Thanks for writing. Our Customer Care team would like some more information to look into this for you.

Could you please provide the model number on the unit?
Also, what make and model of monitors are you using on the WorkFit?

Thanks!

Thanks for those details. I forwarded your question to our Customer Care team, and they came up with a couple of possibilities.

That model is the WorkFit-A with Suspended keyboard, which will not reach as high as the 24-390-026, but still close (33.2”).

So I think 3 things might be happening here:

- You might have the crossbar mounted on the lower hole pattern (circled below) instead of on the highest)

- You may need to adjust the 5” Lift engine so you can raise the monitors to the highest position

- Your power/video cables may be holding down the monitors

Thank you Adam. Unfortunately, none of the three were happening.

1. My crossbar is mounted at the top hole pattern

2. I'm already able to raise my monitors to the highest point possible within the grooves

3. My cables are loose enough so that they aren't holding my monitors down.

I measured again and it looks like the height is actually 37 inches from top of desk to top of the monitor supporting bar. From what you're saying, I don't think I'll be able to get more height out of it. Do you know of anything else that 6' and up people are doing to get more height? It seems like many others would face this issue.
