Tablet compatibility for Ergotron's Tablet Management Cart

Postby ErgoMichelle » Wed Nov 30, 2011 4:55 pm

Great news! We have expanded the list of products that can be charged and synced using the Ergotron Tablet Management Carts and Desktop Modules http://www.ergotron.com/tabid/65/language/en-US/Default.aspx?FID=106,26. Compatible tablets include: Amazon Kindle, Amazon Kindle Fire, Apple iPad/iPad 2, Apple iPod Touch, Barnes and Noble Nook, Dell Streak 7, HP TouchPad, and the Lenovo ThinkPad (1838 series).

Please note that the Ergotron cart is able to communicate with the devices above, but a software solution (i.e., iTunes, Windows 7 Device Stage) may be needed to facilitate the syncing process for your particular tablet. All devices will mount as USB drives.

The following tablets charge via USB and have been tested, but are currently not compatible with the cart: Blackberry Playbook and the Samsung Galaxy Tab

The following products do not charge via USB, so they are not compatible at this time: HP Slate 500, Motion CL900, Motorola Xoom, and the Toshiba Thriv.

We are testing new tablets. If you are curious about one that has not been mentioned, let us know.
