Vesa mount at top of screen

Will my display work with that?

Vesa mount at top of screen

Postby curiousbabe » Mon Nov 25, 2013 4:56 am

I have a Samung monitor/TV with a Vesa mount (75, I think) at the top of the back of the unit T22C300. I'm thinking of getting either the desk mounted LX 45-241-026 or the 200 series 45-234-200.

I need to mount the arm close to a zero gravity lounger, and a sofa is also nearby, so I'd swing it between those. I need to modify the LX to get more downward tilt.

But with the Vesa mount on that monitor, I'm afraid the center of gravity might be off, and maybe it won't stay in the downward tilt?

If so, is there some kind of adapter I could use to change the center of gravity? That might work with the connections falling right below, and if I use an HDMI cable with an angle, I might buy another few centimeters.

I cannot verify if T22C300 has a VESA compliant interface. This model is not listed in our database. From its manual I see the base can be removed and it does have a hole pattern available to attach to a wall mount, but what that pattern's dimensions are I cannot say. Assuming that it is a 75x75 VESA interface, it will work with either the LX or the 200 Series and you do not need to worry about center of gravity. Don't bother with any adapter for that purpose--it is a very light weight display so wherever the C/G is located, it shouldn't make a difference.

It's Vesa, and 75x75. Thank you for the reply.

I'm not keeping that monitor. I'm looking at a Philips 246V5LHAB. 100x100 Vesa and 4.22kg without a stand. Would that one be OK with those two stands?

Yep. It will work great with either the LX or the 200 Series.
