Samsung UN32EH5300FXZA LCD TV

Will my display work with that?

Samsung UN32EH5300FXZA LCD TV

I've got a pair of Dell 27" monitors - an old U2711 (that I may replace with a U2713HM any day now) and new U2713HM - and a Samsung UN32EH5300FXZA "LED" LCD TV that's currently sitting off to the side, perpendicular to the monitors (so that it's annoying to be constantly twisting my head back and forth if there's a good footie game on while I'm working).

The TV: http://www.samsung.com/us/video/tvs/UN32EH5300FXZA

Without Stand:
  • VESA 400 x 400
  • 29.1" x 17.5" x 3.7" WxHxD
  • 12.8 lb
is sitting low on the non-adjustable plastic stand that comes with it, so it's viewing position is maximally inconvenient for everything.

If I get an Ergotron stand compatible with the U2711 and U2713 (possibly so that I can position them both in portrait mode ...), what would be the "best" option to mount the TV - either above the 27" monitors or off to the side on it's own - so that I would have more flexibility positioning it?

For your TV, either the LX Desk Mount Arm, Tall Pole (45-295-026) or the LX Sit-Stand Desk Mount Arm (45-360-026) will move your screen as you describe. The big difference between the two arms is 45-360-026 will provide more range of motion--e.g., 20-inch height and 33-inch extension vs. 13-inch height and 25-inch extension for 45-295-026. The other difference is 45-360-026 will be rock solid because it's a bigger, beefier arm, while 45-295-026 is going to use a bit less space and be less conspicuous.

Last note, if it has a 400x400 mm VESA pattern, you'll need the VESA Adapter Bracket Kit 97-759 with either arm. However, our database shows that model as having a 200x200 mm VESA pattern, which means you'd only need the VESA kit with 45-295-026 because 45-360-026 can already accommodate the 200x200 mm pattern.

Thanks for the reply.

You're right, I just measured it (was reading from their Web site before) and the TV actually has a 200x200mm VESA pattern, not 400x400.
