Will my display work with that?

100mm plate obscures power connector on Lenovo LI2323S

Postby dougburks » Wed Jul 23, 2014 2:20 pm

Hello all,

I have an Ergotron 45-243-026 LX Wall Mount with LCD Arm and a Lenovo LI2323S monitor. The monitor has 75 x 75 mm VESA mounting holes but the power connector is nearby meaning that the Ergotron 75/100 plate partially obscures the power connector. I can angle the power connector and the bottom screws on the plate to get it to *loosely* fit (see attached picture), but I'd prefer a more robust solution. Any ideas other than cutting the Ergotron plate so it doesn't cover the power connector? What would it take to cut the Ergotron plate?

Thanks!

Doug

Hi Doug,

I'm sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, there really is no fix. It is uncommon for a monitor to have a rear-exit, power-cable interface so close to the mounting hole pattern. If you had a mount where the plate was limited to a 75x75mm hole pattern, such as our Neo-Flex Arm (Part: 45-306-101), it might work. However, most mounts nowadays combine 100x100mm and 75x75mm hole patterns on a single plate because it is more cost effective and efficient.
